Former Teach Kentucky applicant Nicole Harp and her husband own Break the Mold CrossFit in Louisville where they have partnered with Steve’s Club to offer free classes for at-risk youth. Nicole asked Teach Kentucky if there were any teachers who might have students they could send her way, and a great partnership was born.
Teach Kentucky educator Aubrey Holle, a 5th year Science teacher and basketball coach at Western High School, is thrilled to bring her girls basketball team to the free CrossFit classes at Break the Mold. She says, “We are planning on working out at their gym every Friday during our preseason. Thanks for getting us connected with them!”
